Joseph Witchall, Illustrator
Joseph is an illustrator of every genre of book imaginable, from children’s Picture books, Graphic Novels, Young Fiction and Poetry, to Educational textbooks and adult fiction. He has been credited in over 20 published books and comics.

Coming from a background of studying animation at university, as well as having a passion for cinema and growing up with a love of comic books, Joseph feels all this strongly comes out in his illustrations - from the movement and dynamism that he translates into his work.
Based in the wilds of North Devon, Joseph's artwork is rooted in the natural world and inspired by imagination and conservation. When he is not illustrating books such as The Unusual Suspects, he teaches the creative skills and crafts he's learned over the years.
Joseph has a passion for his subject and injects masses of enthusiasm into his teaching, using a very hands-on approach to creating art and design which aims to encourage students to explore new skills, build confidence and get creative.
